For those of you who prefer a more natural building we also supply a 100% natural insulation that has the same thermal properties as mineral wool insulation.  U Value reports for this material used in conjunction with the logs can be viewed by clicking in the links below.  This natural material is wood fibre (Shavings) which we treat with a 100% natural flame retardant (boron) which is also an anti fungal and natural insecticide which has been used as the traditional treatment of timber as a preservative for centuries.  One huge benefit of using this totally natural insulation is the very low cost, especially when you consider that one of the higher costs in builds is the insulation.
